The Apprenticeship Center

For more than a decade, American Children’s Campaign has offered an innovative workforce development program called “The Apprenticeship Center.” Current apprenticeship opportunities exist for college students interested in Florida’s policymaking process and policy reform. Our goal is to bridge the gap between academic learning and workforce development while providing college students with the opportunity to learn the value and importance of civic engagement.

Gain Valuable Real-Life Experience

An ideal candidate for the Public Policy Team would possess adept written and verbal communication skills, strong critical thinking skills, and a passion for child advocacy. Also, you must be able to work 15-20 hours per week for at least two consecutive semesters. All internships begin unpaid.
