High School Graduation: Establishes Florida National Guard Youth Challenge Program for purpose of training & mentoring certain high school dropouts; requires that Clay County School District, DJJ, DCFS, & Florida National Guard jointly administer program; provides program requirements; provides for funding; establishes GED exit option to provide alternative route to receive standard high school diploma for students enrolled in Florida National Guard Youth Challenge Program or programs offered by or under contract with DJJ; provides that DOE may authorize school districts to award high school equivalency diplomas; revises provisions relating to determination of school grades. Effective Date: July 2, 2010 |
