Roy Miller
Roy Miller serves as President for the Children's Campaign, Inc.
Roy is a former partner in a governmental relations and consulting firm
and has extensive experience in campaign planning and execution. He managed
the campaigns of candidates affiliated with both political parties as
well as non-partisan judicial races and referendum issues. His winning
average exceeded 80 percent.
Along with specializing in grassroots and media driven educational outreach
efforts, Roy has extensive experience in youth policy analysis in juvenile
justice, deinstitutionalization, and alternatives to judicial processing.
He directed a community-based agency for 12+ years providing services
to troubled and street youth. He was appointed to the Governor's Task
Force for Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention by Governor Reubin
Askew, and was appointed Chairman by Governor Bob Graham. He represented
the southern region in Washington D.C. through service on the National
Steering Committee of State Advisory Groups.
Roy is a graduate of Leadership St. Petersburg and is a former board
member of numerous children and youth organizations, including service
as President of the Florida Network of Youth and Family Services.
Roy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida State University. Roy and
his wife, Jan, support several public interest causes.

Linda Alexionok
Linda Alexionok serves as Chief Operating Officer/UPK Director for Children’s
Campaign, Inc.
A recognized business and community leader in North Florida, Linda has
supported the Florida School Readiness Coalition initiative since 2000
and recently served as Chair of the Leon/Gadsden School Readiness Coalition.
Linda also serves as a member on the Board of Directors, United Way of
the Big Bend; Tallahassee Memorial Hospital Foundation; FSU College of
Education Alumni; and the Capital Women’s Network.
Linda began her leadership and community service as a Leon County public
school teacher before transferring to the field of banking. She was recognized
by the American Institute of Banking as “Banker of the Year”;
was a nominee for the Tallahassee Chamber’s “Small Business
Advocate” and “Leadership Pacesetter Awards; and received
the Tallahassee Community College’s “Women Putting Their Stamp
on History” award. Linda served as a Community Bank CEO from 1996-2000.
Linda has often been asked why she left the classroom. She is always
quick to respond that she never left the classroom, she just made the
world her classroom. Linda’s business, community service and educational
knowledge and skills bring to the Children’s Campaign a wealth of
experience and leadership to guide the advocacy efforts of the Campaign’s
UPK initiative.

Amanda
Ostrander
Amanda Busch serves as the Coordinator of Policy and Administration for
Children’s Campaign, Inc.
Amanda is responsible for the daily oversight of the support infrastructure
and “back room” operations of the organization, inclusive
of technology, while driving the development of the Children’s Campaign
public policy platform inclusive of issue research and legislative monitoring.
Amanda earned both her B.S.W. and M.S.W. from Florida State University,
with a concentration in Social Policy and Administration.
Her previous employment included service to Voices for Florida’s
Children as a Policy/Academy Specialist where she provided assistance
to the Director of the Advocacy Academy, developed curriculum, wrote position
papers, tracked legislation, and worked with a range of coalitions.
A Everett Public Service Fellow with the Child Welfare League of America,
Amanda worked in their D.C. offices in the Government Affairs division,
advocating for child welfare policy and appropriations.
Other previous roles included service as a Supervisor with the Family
Visitation Center, AmeriCorps volunteer with the Guardian ad Litem Program
of Florida, and a stint as a childcare worker.
Honors include the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Bright
Scholar.

Cassandra Jenkins
Cassandra Jenkins serves as Director of Juvenile Justice for Children’s
Campaign, Inc.
Cassandra worked for ten years for the Florida Department of Juvenile
Justice before coming to the Children’s Campaign, Inc. in 2005.
At DJJ she was both a Bureau Chief of Prevention Services and a Bureau
Chief of Intervention Services, serving under the first DJJ Secretary,
Calvin Ross. She moved on to work in the Bureau of Data and Research and
finished her tenure at DJJ in the Inspector General's Office.
Cassandra served for 12 years at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
While at FDLE, she helped to develop the nation’s first Missing
Children Information Clearinghouse, the state’s Hate Crime Reporting
Program, the state’s first Firearm Purchase Program, and the Florida
Juvenile Handbook.
Her first job in state government was with the Civil Rights Office with
the Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services.
Cassandra graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Criminology and Sociology from Florida State University. She also received
a Masters in Criminology from FSU.
Cassandra is a two-time winner of the Florida State University Black
Alumni Association Outstanding Alumni Award, received FSU's Circle of
Gold Award, and was National President of the FSU Black Alumni Association.
She is active in numerous charitable and civic associations in Tallahassee
and statewide.

Naomi Maingot
Naomi Maingot serves as Campaign Coordinator for Children’s Campaign, Inc.
In her position she is responsible for providing support to our Campaign Managers through updating and researching information related to the Children’s Campaign platforms. She also works to coordinate special projects and community outreach efforts throughout the state.
Naomi graduated Magna Cum Laude earning her BSW from the University of Central Florida and her MSW from Florida State University, with a concentration in Social Policy and Administration. She began working with the Children’s Campaign as an intern and was thrilled to continue her work here as Campaign Coordinator.
Naomi has worked in the Developmental Disabilities office as well as the Seminole County Community Assistance office. She is a dedicated child advocate who is excited to share her passion with Children’s Campaign partners.
She enjoys visiting her family and friends in her hometown of Orlando, Florida, volunteering in the community, and making sure she brings a little humor into everyone’s life.

Darah Valville
Darah Valville serves part-time as Campaign Aide (Fiscal/Data) for Children's Campaign, Inc. She started working at Children's Campaign, Inc. in 2005.
Darah is working toward a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Finance at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. She excels in her studies, and is currently on the honor role.
When Darah isn’t in the classroom she is practicing and competing with the FAMU’s Varsity Track Team. She competes in the high jump, pole vault, and heptathlon.
Darah is originally from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and is enjoying the experience she is gaining in her field at Children's Campaign, Inc.
